… E kl ec kt ic s … Item : Raynaud Limoges "Ambassador" Cream Soup Bowl and Underplate Description : This is extremely fine china from A. Raynaud et Cie Limoges in the Ceralene series. Ambassador has a 24 K encrusted gold French Renaissance border dating from the XVI century. Each piece has been double polished with agate (written on the back of each piece in gold - see photograph) which makes it last for many years without loss to the gold. As it's name implies, this is formal dinner ware. each piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or evidence of wear. Plate: 7 3/4' wide; Bowl: 6 1/2" from handle to handle x 2 1/8" high excluding handles
