RAYO #75 Hot Blast Lantern is in very good used condition. Red Dietz (age unk) glass globe has no cracks, marked 'Dietz Fitzall New York U.S.A' on one side, and on the other 'LOC-NOB Patd. 3-10-14'. Marked on the top of the base platform/reservoir tank near the filler cap, 'Rayo' and 'No. 75'. On the back side of the base platform is marked, 'Hot Blast Made in U.S.A.'. The swing lever on the side swings the whole assemly up, out, and away from the wick(no wick present on this lamp)...and swings great. The top of the globe can be released from the retainer ring by a slight pressure up on the exterior lever...overall really a great simplistic very functional design. Very nice collectible/display lantern. With some minor TLC this lamp would be mint and ready to go. Great patina.
