No chips, no cracks. The wooden storage box has a split on the lid. Size L 6.4"(16.3cm) x W 9.6"(24.4cm) x H 0.6-0.9"(1.5-2.3 cm) Discription of the item This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden tea plate coated with silver leaf, which was made about 30-40 years ago. This plate was made by a very famous artisan, Heian Zohiko. The seal of the artisan is stamped on the bottom. The original wooden box with a signature of the artisan is also included.
