Up for your consideration is this freshly restored RCA Victor J-3 45 rpm record changer. Built during the 9th week of 1951, this J-3 is an attachment unit designed to play records through a radio equipped with a phono input. It does not have an amplifier or speaker. The J-3 is the rarest of RCA's 45 changers and was only offered during the 1950 product line. This particular machine dates from the end of the J-3's production run. It has been completely restored and is ready to provide excellent high fidelity playback of your favorites through the magnetic phono input of your amplifier. As the pictures show, this J-3 is in outstanding cosmetic condition. It features the original factory finish on the tonearm, turntable, and spindle. These parts look near new with no significant flaws or blemishes in the gold tone paint. The red marbelized vinyl turntable mat and red plastic spindle cap are likewise free of any significant flaws. The brown bakelite case has no cracks or chips anyw and even lacks the needle scratch that is almost always present on these machines. All parts have been washed, polished, and buffed to a glossy shine... beautiful! You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner all original J-3! The restoration includes a new power cord, new RCA phono plug, and new idler for steady, accurate speed and dependable record changes.
