Hello All, This auction is for one vintage RCA Model 121 Cathedral Radio. Found recently at an estate auction and now offered for sale. I have not dissassembled, cleaned, or modified the radio in any way. The radio has not been turned on. You should expect to thoroughly inspect, test, and repair before using. The radio is being sold as an untested item. The Model 121 was first available to consumers in 1933. The chassis is stamped with number 017400. The cabinet measures at 17"H, 13-7/8"W, and 8-7/8"D. The radio is a 6 (six) tube AC powered unit with a BC (AM) band and a Shortwave band. The radio has four controls, a combined ON/OFF Volume, Tone, Tuning, and a Pull switch to choose BC/SW. All knobs turn or pull, but the ON/OFF Volume is very stiff and barely rotates. I quickly tested the tubes and received faulty readings for the 58s and the 2B7. This could be the fault of my tester. I have no other old radio tubes to test, replace or use as a baseline.
