This auction is for a rca victor radio and record player set that match each other great. They both work great and even though they are mono sound really sound good. The radio is a victor model 14X with a tube layout of 35z5,12sa7,12sk7,12sq7, and 50L6. The radio picks up great on A.M., the shortwave is weak though as I could only pick up on station really faint. The record player is a rca victor model 45-J-2, it work great with a little hesitation when the record drops, but the longer I played it the better it got. This has a new cartidge installed and really makes the set sound great, its not a stereo system but the old fashion sound we listen to when we were kids. The radio has been recapped and the record player oiled up for long life play. Really a nice matching set, so check out the pictures and decide for yourself, thanks for looking at my auction.
