You are bidding on a 1956 Rca Victor New OrthophonicHigh Fidelity record player. These rare beauties were the pinnacle of great sound and technology for the times when things were built to last. This one is completely restored and ready for the next half century. Please Note: I did not do the restoration, but this machine is AMAZING and almost new. The guy I got this from did a wonderful job. Trust me you will love it. All the items here where done by a pro Victor restorer. The machine plays and sounds like new. Don't let this slip you by. I am selling it only because of the death of my wife. I have only had this machine for 2 months and played it just a handful of times. You know what they say my loss your gain. Case - refinished with original colors - oak and suttle yellow color scheme. All major scratches were removed in start of restoration.Faded and slight corrosion on hardware was removed by heavy polishing. Some light scratches remain.Motorboard and mechanics - cleaned, sanded and painted 2 coats plus clear and than sanded and buffed. All internals completely disassembled, lubed and cleaned. All rubber motor mounts replaced, new mount cones replaced. Motor completely rebuilt and cleaned. Idler and cycle cam are NOS. Plays at 45 rpm and cycles perfectly every time.
