READYMADES, CRAMPS, TUXEDO MOON - punk/new waveposter. This 11" x 17" poster is for a show on March 16th, 1979 at Pauley Ballroom on the campus of UC Berkeley (San Francisco Bay Area). Photo by Pearl Jones. Poster design by JP (Jonathan Postal of the Readymades) THE READYMADES lead singer, JONATHAN POSTAL was a founding member of THE AVENGERS. READYMADES drummer, PAUL ZAHL, was a drummer for TUXEDO MOON, SVT (with JACK CASADY), THE YANKS, and THE FLAMIN' GROOVIES (later edition). Guitarist RICKY SLUDGE fronted THE ULTRAS surf and instrumental band in the 80's and 90's. google PUNK GLOBE READYMADES for a review of READYMADES' music by GINGER COYOTE. CRAMPS consisted of Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, Nick Knox, and Bryan Gregory. TUXEDO MOON featured Winston Tong, Blaine Reninger, and Stephen Brown. Poster is printed on light to medium weight pink paper. It is original. Condition = VG+. Light creasing. There is one horizontal fold and one vertical fold. Poster has been stored flat for many years.
