Real & 2R 1836-1841 Date Set, REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR. KM-17 One Real 1836 of assayer FP, 1838- ST, 1839- MV and 1840- MV accompanied by the RARE transposed legends Real (KM20) dated 1837 FP. Two Reales KM-18 of 1836 (both assayers GJ & FP are included) plus the 1839, 1840 and 1841 (this is ex- Maulme) with MV are present. The scarce transposed legend 2R type dated 1837 FP is included as well. Although some typical circulating defects (like a scratch on the backside of the 1837 Real) are present, most of this well-circulated group are quite pleasant for the era.
