My late father collected Civil War items and this and the other parts I have listed were a mostly complete gun with stock cut down. I had intended to do somewhat of a restoration on it with the intention of using it to hang over my fireplace but have since decided to use a different piece. I had taken the gun apart and had a friend media blast the surfaces ( I know, I know..... but I didn't know better at the time) I wanted a nice display that was a nice representation of what they looked like fresh from the Armory). Anyway, overall a nice trigger guard. Has some light normal pitting but works smoothly and is complete. Incudes the screws that are also in very nice condition. Please check out my other listings. I am parting out all that I have for this rifle, including a very nice bayonet and scabbard . B uyer to pay a flat rate of $8.00 for shipping (within the cont.
