Hey t Lifers! (Remember - I made that term official. :D ) This is an incredibly unique item I'm putting up for sale, and normally I wouldn't part with it, but as we've recently aquired some new tradeshow displays (and we also need to raise some funds for the journey to Comic Con) I've decided to put it up on the auction block: this is the booth banner I made in 2003 to take with me to Comic Con International.
It's since been all over the country - I've taken it to basically every tradeshow and convention I've exhibited at. If you walked around a dealer's hall looking for our booth, this bad boy is what you saw at the back of it. And it all fit in the handy-dandy traveling tube, to boot! Again, I've had it for six years now, so it's definitely been around a bit. :) (You can tell it's old, too - it lists Liz on the bottom as "Elizabeth Van Buskirk"... she hasn't been that for over four years! :D ) On to the specifics - the banner is made of a nice heavy-duty vinyl, and has a metal bar attached to the top to hang it on the vertical bar. The whole thing stands just a hair over 7 feet when it's set up, and is 31 inches side to side - it's definitely not tiny. All told, it rolls up and fits in a 35" long tube with a shoulder strap, which has proven useful for transporting not just the banner, but posters that I've sold, as well. Very, very durable. T's also a cloth pouch to store the metal bars in when not set up. I'm setting this as a 4-day auction, since we're leaving for San Diego as of this coming Monday. If the winning bidder wishes, I'd be more than happy to sign (Hell, I'll even write or sketch on it if you like) the banner, and it will be sent out promptly on the following monday. (I MAY be able to send it out from Los Angeles or San Diego, but that's pushing it. We might be able to arrange something, though.) As always, payment via PayPal is accepted. Thanks, folks!
