Realistic STA-120 Stereo Receiver 1970 70 watts per channel at 8ohms OK all you Radio Shack fans out there, here is a Realistic receiver from 1970, built by NEC of Japan for Radio Shack. I went to the on line Radio Shack catalog and on page 34 of the 1970 catalog there is their description of this receiver. They rate the output at 70 wpc, but that is for them to say. The STA-120 weighs in at 27 pounds is 19.5" x 15" x 5.5" The stereo light is not operating. It has been several months since I last operated this receiver I believe all the functions worked when I had it hooked up, I do not think I used the tape function, but I cannot imagine it not working. nice walnut cabinet.Sold as is, As with all used vintage electronics they should be checked by a service technician _gsrx_vers_335 (GS 5.5 (335))
