Realistic Wooden Katana with Sheath - Practice Bokken This is an excellent all-wood reproduction of a full sized katana. It has been fully painted in all black with a silver-tone blade to give it a realistic look. The handle is wrapped in the traditional style. The tsuba is the shape of a decorated tsuba, but is left undecorated for strength. The sheath is also traditionally wrapped with symbols of honor incised into the side of the sheath. Sword has a total length of appx. 38.5" with a blade length of appx. 26.5". New, no problems. This is a sturdy sword but I do not consider it for combat or striking it is for forms and practice only.
