INTRODUCES BABY Max WEIGHT Approx. 7 lbs. 6oz LENGTH 19 in. Welcome to my nursery! C'mon in and let me tell you about your precious new little baby boy . Max was originally Kaya by Eva Helland.I have chosen limbs I felt suited him better. He has closed hands (this fools the eye and if you take him out with you no one will know he's not real, open fingers give away the secret because everyone knows a babies fingers don't stay stiff and unmoving) His legs are a bit larger and fit him perfectly!My name is Tonya Mitchell and I am the artist who got to bring your little boy to "life"!. I began the process using Genesis heat set paints. These paints are what allowed me to achieve such realistic skintones. I have given him veins that appear to be under the skin, these are placed where the skin would be the thinnest and are very subtle. Next he is blushed to have a mottled complexion. I have painted him to appear to have circulation! His nails were painted without "moons". This was not an oversight. It's that a baby his age would not have any. They have been tipped in an off white creme color that fit him perfectly, then sealed so that they stay perfect! It's the little details that are so important and none have been overlooked on your baby. Now, about those gorgeous baby tresses, I have used the highest quality mohair from Delta Dawn and Slumberland Nursery. It was chosen just for Max in the sweetest shade of baby brown. I achieved the look of hair growing right out of his scalp by using a very thin rooting needle. This process is very tedious and time consuming because each hair is placed one and two at a time. I enjoyed every minute of it and the end result even more! Finally, we come to weighting your boy. On this step of the process you might think it gets easy?...well,...not exactly. I'm really picky here too! You see, I think a baby that looks like a baby should feel like a baby too. You can be sure that your baby feels just like a newborn baby! True story, this man was admiring Max and I told him I made him then let him hold him, he was holding him and he said to me "He's just precious how old is he"? I said "Oh, no, he's a doll" then he laughed and said "I was wondering why you let me hold him being that I'm a complete stranger!" he then added "I swear, he felt as real as he looked"...other people walked in the store and then they went crazy over him! Max basically shut down the store for a few minutes because even the cashiers had stopped to admire and hold him! Three people whipped out thier camera phones and two of them ask me if I would mind if they put him on FaceBook! Max had a big day that day:) and I was so tickled everyone loved him like they did! OK back to how he is weighted. He is perfectly weighted with poly fil, poly pellets and steel shot. I prefer a heavier baby. A living baby weighing 7lbs. 6oz.will feel lighter than your baby although they both weigh the same. Your baby Max will probably feel as though he weighs a full lb. heavier. This is simply my preference. He is very floppy and the same care in holding any baby should be taken with your baby boy.When you pick him up he just snuggles up perfectly to you. I promise you won't want to put him down! I have even given him a baby powder scent! This scent is nothing sprayed on but comes from the inside so it's sure to last a very, very long time! I hope I have given you an idea of how your baby was lovingly created. I'm so glad you stopped by my nursery but he's sleepy now so we'd better go...what's that?...you want to take him home with you?
