~For The Discerning Collector...~ ''...Anything But Ordinary'' Introducing...~Aiden~ Please welcome Aiden to the world! He weighs 3 lbs. 10 oz. and is 14inches long (with legs bent). Aiden is a very special one of a kind baby. He began as a preemie Berenguer La Newborn play doll, and has since been transformed into this lifelike baby boy... So Cuddly... Aiden has been given a cuddly fabric body, custom designed and sewn by myself. He has incredibly detailed full vinyl arms and legs which were weighted with tiny glass beads and then double sealed. His head has also been weighted, and will need to be supported, just like a real newborn. The rest of his cuddly body was strategically weighted with fine sterilized white sand, pellets, and fluffy polyfill making him a joy to cuddle and hold... Baby soft mohair... Aiden has a blonde mohair wig. It is made from baby soft mohair. I have cut and styled it to give the look of wispy infant hair, complete with a widows peak. His hair can be brushed and styled, misted with water, and even curled with a curling iron. Aiden has newborn blue eyes, wispy baby lashes, and 'barely there' eyebrows. True to life skin... Aiden's amazingly lifelike skin tone was achieved through meticulously hand painting the vinyl and highlighting special areas to give him that healthy baby glow. His lips have been tinted with natural hues and sealed. Each of his tiny fingers and toes have been lightly tipped and sealed, and now have the appearance of real baby nails. He loves to take modified magnetic pacifier. Coming home... Keegan will arrive home in his polar fleece monkey themed romper, dinosaur onesie, and diaper. He will also have his cuddly blanket, modified pacifier, and tummy and tush plates. (In case you may not already know, the tummy and tush plates are a tummy/tush taken from his original all vinyl body. Many collectors like to use to tuck these into a diaper, under a shirt, etc. for more realistic posing options, as seen in the photo below.)
