She was created by the very talented full time artist Kimberley Chase of Rose Petal Nursery in the United States. I adopted this gorgeous baby doll at the end of June but for personal reasons I have decided to put her up for adoption. is her description: Krysten's lifelike baby skin tones have been achieved using many thin layers of Genesis heat set paints. She has subtle veining and undertones and all of her little creases have been blushed and shaded to perfection. Genesis paints are permanent, so you will never have to worry about them rubbing off or fading over time. Baby Krysten has 3/4 vinyl arms and full vinyl legs. She has a custom made doe suede body. Her body and head have been filled with soft fiberfill and premium poly pellets and her arms and legs have been filled with soft fiberfill and very fine glass beads for a realistic feel. Krysten's hair has been meticulously micro rooted with beautiful high quality premium mohair in a lovely shade of baby brown. Hair has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof sealant so it can be lightly wet & styled. Krysten's little fingernails and toenails have been carefully manicured for a "just clipped" appearance. They have been hand painted and then sealed for protection. Her lips have been painted in a soft natural rose colour, glossed, and sealed for protection. Krysten has been given a lovely shade of newborn blue eyes. Her eyebrows have been delicately hand painted using very fine strokes and her little nose has been opened and backed with felt for added depth and realism. Her eyelashes have been hand applied. This first set of pictures are the original ones from the artist, which she has kindly given me permission to use. ----------------------- These pictures below are ones that I have taken of her. The pictures were taken without a flash in natural light. Some may look a little pinker as I think that the pink colour of her blanket & bedding has reflected the light onto her. But as you can see from the pictures she is adorable. She is fully pose able having disk jointed arms & legs and her head can also turn with ease as t is a turning disk t also which really adds to the pose ability of this doll. --------------------------- Please to see a beautiful scrapbook album It will open up in a new window, have your speakers turned on.
