The purpose of this auction is to promote the many artists who are encompassed under the PRA*ISE umbrella and to raise awareness amongst the buying and reborning public that artists displaying a PRA*ISE logo have been thoroughly checked for quality and customer service I am the sole artist behind Celestial Cradle. I have been creating the stunning babies for around 2 years now. I am the proud mother of 5 children, 2 of which were born premature. One at 27 weeks and the other at 34 weeks.When i came across these stunning babies 2 years ago I knew what i wanted to do. I decided to find out as much as i could about the process of making these wonderful babies.After trying the different paint out available i decided what i preferred and i am always striving to make improvements to my own techniques.I always put 100% into every baby i make and always make them to the best of my ability. Name: Ava Weight: 3 lb 2 oz approx length : 18" legs bent D.O.B.: 20th july 201 2 Ava was reborn from the Philine sculpt by Dorothea Petzold , Which i then painted with many layers of Genesis heat set paint to build up the skin and mottled tones. She has been Blushed and veins added in all the right Paces. Ava has full limbs and a disc join ted white doe suede body. Her full limbs allow h er to wear a wide variety of clothing inc shorts and t-shirts. She has been weighted with premium crushed glass she also has a sealed weighted bag in her body and head to give that floppy baby feel. (i never use sand in any of my babi es. Ava does have 2 magnets fitted one for her pacifier and one for her hair decoration. I do not recommend My babies for children u nder 8 years . and i would not recommend A va for a child under 14 years due to the rooted hair. and magnets Ava is not a play doll but a collectors piece. PLEASE NOTE care must be taken around people with pacemakers and computer equipment due to the magnets . Ava has hand rooted with Premium angora hair in a stunning curly ebon y shade that has been rooted with a swirl like a reall baby. this was then sealed on the inside to allow gentle styling . the hair ca ne be dampened for styling. She ha s hand rooted eye lashes that match her lovely hair color Ava has a small cut on her nose for added realism , and has also been given a wet look mouth and corners of her eyes , Her nose has been opened to give a more baby look I have also added a wet look inside the nose. I gave Ava a small birthmark/bruise on her upper arm for added realism as many babies have blemishes and marks. Ava's nails have been tipped and v arnished for that fresh manicured look Ava has a manufacturing blemish on her neck (see Image) I have made this look like a red birth mark this is in the vinyl when it was produced and does not take anything away from this amazing little girl.
