Reconstruction in the City of London - Corporation of London Report of the Improvemnts and Town Planning Committee relative to Post War Reconstruction in the City. Published date 1944 on cover (inside says authorized to be printed and circulated July 1941) First half of the book is 32 pages of info on meeting minutes and decisions taken on reconstruction and town planning, including various photographic plates. There is then a 34 page addendum.Second half of the book consists of superb colour coded fold out maps (approx 15 in total).A fascinating official document for anyone interested in the history of the City of London and wartime changes. CONDITION - PLEASE NOTE: Cover is rather tatty, most of the leather binding on the spine has gone, it also has two Ministry of Transport Library stamps ('withdrawn') on it and is generally a little grubby. Inside is in decent condition with another library stamp/notation on first page. Heavy book, parcel will be over 1kg, thus £5.00 postage to UK. Customers outside the UK please enquire about shipping costs.Will be posted in cardboard box with plenty of protection to avoid damage in the post. Sold in support of the 47401 Project.
