This great stereo system has everything built in that was available in the 70s. The turntable is state of the art for back then and it plays 33 and 45 speed records with precision and great sound. This unit has been used and has a few monor scratches, mostly in the dust cover but it all works perfectly. You can transfer your vinyl to cassette with this unit by just playing a record and running a blank tape at the same time. I have tested this feature several times and it works with crystal clear sound every time. The AM/FM reciever also has fantastic sound. If you are an older audiophile you will LOVE this unit. It will even stack and play records automatically and the tone arm will go the whatever track you set it for. The cartridge features a SHURE stylus for perfect reproduction. It is old and will probably need to be replaced soon but it works now and sounds terrific. Even the 8 track works and this is something that often has problems on these older stereos. I have tested it over and over and all you do is push in the 8 track tape and then you can change the tracks by pushing a button 1-2-3-4, i';s as easy at that. I cannot guarantee these stereo items because of their fragile nature BUT I always insure them when shipping and I package them very well to avoid damage.
