Authentic Salvaged Wood Framed Chalk/Magnetic Board Recycled Relics...recycling at it's best!We have been GREEN since 1989 We have taken salvaged molding from a old house in Upstate NY, and made it into a Magnetic/Chalkboard. This in NOT slate(Hence magnetic) It ismetal that we have rolled with chalkboard paint. You can write on it with chalk, and use magnets. Multi function! #674This wood framed Chalkboard is perfect in the kitchen Or foyer,You can use the magnetic chalkboard to writeshopping lists, Sports schedules & menus. Or you can use magnets to display family photos.The Salvaged wood frame measures 18" x 24"The opening is 12" x 18""Width of the molding is 3"It is painted in a Antique Light beige paint. T is speckles of old Turquoise blue.Awesome crackle finish! We have added a wire hanger. The joints might not be 'tight' due to the age of the wood, but we try and get them as close as possible. We salvage old fluted molding, clapboard,beadboard & tin ceiling from old Victorians ,farm houses(1890's-early 1900's) & buildings in upstate NY. All the houses were beyond repair. T might be original pieces of wood missing from the back of the frame w it was originally removed. It doesn't show from the front of the frame.
