Coffee set includes: steel tray, chrome coffee server (not a percolator!) with fab red bakelite handle and dainty red bakelite knob on the lid, open sugar and creamer with red bakelite ovals on the handles. Only mark I could find was on the bottom of the coffee server 'STAINLESS CHROME', but no manufacturer. Set may have been made in Japan in the late 40s -- early 50s. The tray is steel (attracts a magnet); measures about 14 inches long and 9 inches deep; has some surface scraches from use but no dents. Creamer and sugar are chrome steel; measure 3.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches across top openings. Coffee server is chrome steel; measures just over 9 inches tall and about 8 inches across from handle edge to spout at the widest part; there are a few pinprick flakes of loss in the edges of the red bakelite handle (too small to photograph) and there is a crease line in the handle (see photo) which is not a crack. Set shows signs of use: there is some slight discoloration on the inside of the pieces; the coffee server has wear to the chrome under the spout (see photo), surface scratches, and a tiny (less than .5 inch) ding. Although not as nicely made as marked USA made sets, still is in useable condition -- and makes a swanky display.
