from dept 56's " Christmas in the City " series. The firetruck and fireman in the inset picture (also ceramic) are included. The inset is not to the same scale as the main picture--the firetruck is about the scale of the building, the fireman is about 200% of that same scale.
The building is a bit dusty, but in near mint condition. The original dept 56 sticker is still on the bottom. It seems to be matte finish, but I really don't know if they released this model in gloss. Light cord included, but not pictured. The dementions are approx. 10.5 x 5.5 x 5 inches. The truck is 4 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches.
The truck is also dept. 56, "H.V. Series." I've no idea about the fireman, only marking is a "made in China" sticker.
The truck also has a broken ladder bracket. It seems to have broken before & had a glue repair --now the brackets just gone. The ladder does rest okay, without it, but it does wiggle a bit if you carry the truck around. T is a bit of paint wear on the fireman's hat & shoulder. Otherwise, I see no cracks at all, no marks, and no chips or losses on the other two. The building was on display for a long time, while my mother was ill, so it's a bit dusty.
I do not have a collector's knowledge of these, but I look with care for any damage, and/or previous repairs. I see no sign of fading, but I'm a touch color-blind, so I might not... I have no documentation, but I'm sure this model has been discontinued. The picture is not altered, other than putting the magnified inset in.
My mother has passed away from cancer, so I'm selling her Snow Village,piece by piece. (She was a collector, and had far too much for us tokeep.) Please check for my other Snow Village auctions, I'll list several in the next week. I've got quite a lot of the boxes for these, it will ship in it's original box, if I can find it. If I do find it, before the last 24 hours of the auction, I'll revise this listing.
My mom had a child-like love of Christmas & always decorated her living room like something out of the old movies like "White Christmas," or "Holiday Inn." The Snow Village was a part of that.
I am listing this "AS IS." ----That means returns will be accepted, only if t is a major omission in my description. I'll notify buyer, should any additional damage happen prior to shipping --giving them option for a full refund. Beside this, I'll assume any damage I have not noted has occurred in shipping. This is why I include S&H and insurance in the sale price, so you can get your full refund from the carrier service, if it's delivered broken.

Payment by personal check, money order, or Paypal accepted. Item ships as soon as payment clears (my bank requires 7-10 days for personal check).
Shipping, Handling, Insurance, & Iowa State Sales Tax
S&H with Insurance for the sale price is included, for the Continental US. Priority Mail is my preferred method. If buyer will cover increased the shipping charge, I'll ship UPS, 2 day, whatever.
Shipping to anyw else in the world is fine, but t will be a charge equal to the actual price difference, over the rate to the Continental US. In that case, insurance becomes optional. Alternative shipping carriers are also available, upon request, subject to accessibility and charges for the increase over actual shipping charge compared to USPS Priority Mail.
All buyers pay 6% Iowa State Sales Tax. As a Seller based in the State of Iowa, I am held liable for it --whether I collect it or not, so I collect it.
