This clean,restored Esterbrook fountain pen is honestly an antique that you can use everyday!

And it's restored and guaranteed to be in great working order .

Add to that:

- 3 brand new Nibs (points),representing Fine Medium and Extra Fine 2556 2314 M 9550 -a great color copy of the Esterbrook nib chart from the 40's and 50's showing all 33 of the nibs sold;

-3 copies of old Esterbrook magazine ads showing specifics about some of the nibs available and

-a trifold set of instructions ,clearly explaining how to fill this and every other vintage fountain pen I've ever seen.

Now that's a pretty good deal ,isn't it?!

The imprints are excellent and the maker's name on the clip looks great. The black "jewels" at either end of the pen are in great condition and are not cracked. T are no chips, cracks, cuts, gauges, lip cracks or any other major issues that I've seen.The cap attaches to the barrel by turning it and the length is between 4.75" and 5" when the cap's in place.

The pen has a fresh bladder and has been tested. It works exactly like new. It is filled from bottled ink and included are good clear instructions for filling this lever pen . ( Cartridges will not work in this pen ). Bottled ink is available at office supply stores and at many sites on line. If you'd like to have some site addresses, just let me know.

Esterbrook fountain pens absolutely defy time in their pretty design .The plastics used along with the pretty mottled design diminish typical scratches etc that would normally mar a different pen beyond usability .This holds true for all the colored pens.

For an object 50-70 years of age , the pen is in really good condition having no issues other than those from light wear.

The uniqueness (from nearly all other brands) is that each nib is engineered to easily screw in and out of the section at the top of the barrel. Changing nibs is effortless and requires no experience. Many Esterbrook users owned 1 pen but bought several different type nibs and changed them out at their pleasure instead of having to take the pen to the pen store or having to send the pen back to the manufacturer when a change was necessary or desirable( Parker ,Sheaffer...most all were this way. )
