*ORIGINAL * 96mm x 126mm (9.6cm x 12.6cm) LARGE PLATE PROMO PUBLICITY ACETATE NEGATIVE. A WONDERFUL RARITY. YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE AVAILABLE IN THE UK. (finger not included, by the way! :) (*NOTE*: If there is strip(s) of RED on the above image, this is developers dense border tape. Used to identify the photographs margins/borders) EXCELLENT CONDITION - STORED IN HAND REFERENCED PROTECTIVE SLEEVE x1 slide ONLY - once this is gone, it is gone for GOOD - NO 2nd chance offers. These negatives (promo photos) were used through the 1970s to the early 2000s for the promotion of bands/singers/artists with their LP/single releases, tours, appearances, press releases. i have a collection of nearly 10,000 plate negative acetate slides obtained directly from the now closed publicity agency Ace Graphics, based in Soho, Central London This company was responsible for creating, producing & distribution of press releases, press kits, promo shots for many major record labels through this time. This very slide was used to create the many promo photos that now sat in many music memorabilia collections across the world. ~# YOUR CHANCE HERE TO GET THE *ORIGINAL* NEGATIVE FOR YOUR MUSIC MEMORABILIA COLLECTION#~ Original Promo photos are hard to find these days in their own right, since they are not really issued these days in the Internet/digital age we now live in. In all my years buying and selling on eBay i have not seen these offered by any other seller, so there are exceptionally rare indeed. A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY MUSIC COLLECTION Promo press photos produced from these slide negatives were created using the old fashioned, very traditional dark-room process back then, before the advent of digital labs. This item is sold as a collectible ONLY I have NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER with creating photographs from negatives, handling or working with negatives, of what this photo would produce like these days. I have no idea. They may have contrast/brightness loss. Grain changes or colour shifts.My only priority is to sell these negatives. & After all these years there is a chance some may not print as well as did originally since lots are 20+ years old now. I really don't know.
