NR Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Object : Lidded Imari bowl (or 'chawan') from the late Edo period (1820-60), decorated in overglaze colours and gold. Decoration : Several reserves with pine, prunus and bamboo on a mostly red background. Size : Diameter 10 cm (4"), height 7 cm (3"). Marks : "Ken ryu nen sei" in Japanese kanji characters (overglaze red) - a spurious Chinese reign mark. State : Excellent - no cracks, chips or repairs. NOTE: Sometimes we sell a set of items (e.g. five cups, six plates) one by one.
