This ladder can be snapped together to be used as one long 40 foot ladder or two 20 foot ladders. It can be used as a side by side ladder for doubles drills or a single line. The snaps are heavy duty snaps. The side rails are black polypro webbing. The plastic rungs carry a lifetime warranty against breaking and they are flat to prevent ankle rollover. They are adjustable but will not move out of place during normal use. It can be used on any surface indoors or outdoors. The ladder has rubber ends on the rungs which helps the ladder to not slide when used on smooth surfaces. You can wear any sports shoes when training with this ladder, even cleats.
