Philco Model D655-124 Red Vanity Picnic Beach Radio.Radio has been electrically restored,new paper caps. replaced. Filter Cap. Test Good.All Tubes test good and are the original Philco Brand Tubes that were originally installed in this radio.Resistors all meet specs.Selinium D.C. Recitifier replaced and upgraded with a new D.C. Diode Recitifier for better reliablity.Radio has been aligned for good reception on the A.M. band,selectivity is very good. This is an AC/DC type radio and could be used with either a battery or wall plug.Radio cabinet is in very good condition,and shows minimal wear and usage.T is one ding in the front near the top next to the lock,maybe this could be fixed,although it is not bad, and radio displays very well.Front speaker grill has the philco emblem that someone has painted gold color.Interior still has clear plastic stap to hold on to any pop bottles,silverware etc.Please feel free to email with any questions or possibly another photo.Shipping is for the lower 48 states. Radio measures 8.5 x 7.5 x12 inches,manufactured in about 1956.
