This is an early (late 1920's) example of Red Wing's 'Jug' vase Shape #179. It is 9 7/8" tall. The glaze is a green crackle over daisies and vines. This is quite unlike any other piece of Red Wing. It is clearly marked Red Wing Art Pottery in the Ink Stamp mark used in the late 1920's and incised with the shape number '179'. It is clean and with no flaws either in the making or from wear. T is no damage.
