I can't describe this rare crock any better than to say it just defies its age. T are no flaws. The inside is clear and shiny. The outside is clear, shiny and smooth as glass and the bottom of the jar is smooth and flawless. It looks as if it was NEVER USED! As you know, very few of these were made and even less are in existence today. Most were broken years ago and the rest of them are in Red Wing Collections, not to be sold for another generation or two. You've seen these bring Hundreds of Dollars at auctions and Red Wing Conventions...So bid away. You can buy a one-gallon crock jar anyw, but to find one with the WING is a rarity, especially in this condition.
