1979 Redline 600a MX-III. This is my personal bike. I bought it new when I was 12. I will put the original pedals on too. The pedals on it now were used for racing. I upgraded the bottom bracket to sealed bearing. I only raced it 3 times. The closest race track was 100 miles away and my dad took me & two friends to the Redline Series in Lincoln NE. Then mom took my sister school shopping & dropped me off at an indoor event that year outside of Lincoln. Then I raced in Doniphan NE at the Mid-Continent Raceway between Motos for a motorcycle motocross. That was a tough race acct of all the ruts & giant dirt clods... The only scratches on it w from the display stand on the bottom bracket, and the one on the front fork from traveling to my first race. I only used it for racing. I used other heavier bikes for going to school & practice. The tires hold air. I saved it for my boys hoping that they may take up racing, but no luck. They are 13 & 14 now and are looking into cars, so I am selling my collection. This is a great piece for anyones collection or even race. It has been stored in my Dad's heated work shop this whole time. 30 years old & still looks new! I also have a Torker BMX, Trek 760 w/ reynolds 531 frame & fork, Schwinn S30 Home Grown Carbonfiber frame mtn bike, and numberous BMX parts. Parts include Oakley III grips, Redline 101 Flite cranks NIB. Redline V-bars, Skyway wheels, Haro number plates, competition COMP 3 tires..... Shipping is Flat rate in 48 states call for Hawaii & Alaska. Insurance is $1.25 per Hundred dollar of winning bid. Thanks for bidding!
