!!!!WEDNESDAY- REDUCED BY £50 !!!H andcrafted Les Paul Flametop with Gibson hardware Made In England 1990s This Les Paul guitar was hand built in Luton, Bedfordshire by English luthier Steve Winch who traded as Raven Guitars* in the late 1990s. Steve managed a three page review in Guitarist mag in April 1997 with a similar Raven double cut LP and I recently tracked down a copy of the mag which is included. The Raven Nemesis featured was £900 in 1997 and has identical features such as the low friction nut, same carve to the horn/s and fon t used on the truss rod cover (included). I bought the guitar from a chap who knew Steve Winch as I wanted it as a back up for my 1960 RI which accounts for the current 60s vibe. Yet again, I have too many guitars and its time for this one to go.Usual Les Paul construction but with a narrower heel ( see pics) easing upper fret access and the top of the horn on the cutaway is carved rather than flat. The body is slightly thinner at 1.75 inches rather than the usual 2 inches.Solid, one piece, mahogany body with a substantial real flamed maple top (not a thin veneer). The very comfortable medium/thin neck is one piece mahogany with a dark ebony board with real mother of pearl inlays and jumbo fretwire. The Raven England headstock decal is missing.
