My pride and joy... Takamine TAN55C, part of the Takamine Super Natural series which superseded the EN series. I have owned this guitar from new and it has never left the house. It's in perfect condition, it hasn't seen much use in the last couple of years, and deserves a new home. Reluctant sale... but, needs must! This instrument is better and more expensive than the TAN45C Specification: Super Natural series, acoustic-electric, gloss finish, double bound AXC (14-7/8") body, rounded cutaway, solid cedar top, abalone rosette, rosewood sides and back, cedar top, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, dot markers, 20 frets (body joins at 14th fret) rosewood headstock overlay, gold Takamine tuners with amber buttons. CTP-2 Cool Tube pickup / preamp system with 12AU7 dual triode vacuum tube. This guitar comes with the added bonus of a Fishman Rare Earth Blend (internal mic & pickup). So.... plugged in it doesn't get much better!! The fishman is plugged in to the aux jack of the CTP-1 (see 2nd picture). The rare earth will need new batteries as it accidently got left "on" last time the guitar was put away. Built in Japan, 1-11/16" nut, 25-1/2" scale. Comes with original brown Takamine hard shell case (still got protective polythene on badge, see last picture). These guitars are like rocking horse poop... so hard to come by.
