--- Guildhall Pattern ---- A Fabulous vintage original 106 piece set of Reed and Barton sterling silver Flatware in the desirable " Guildhall " pattern.Rarely seen and much sought after by collectors ,this pattern was discontinued a few years back and now is available on the secondary market to those lucky enough to come across the guildhall pieces.Each piece in this set is genuine, made of the highest quality heavy gauge sterling silver and is in excellent condition...simply stunning in appearence.Some professional polishing would make it even more spectacular.Overall it is a nice set ,but t are some small polishing marks associated with older sets, but no damage.I didnt see any dents, ding, damage ,monograms,or removals.Each piece is hallmarked with " Sterling Reed and Barton "..Besides the quality,completeness and condition of the gorgeous original service t is a generous array of both serving and other additional pieces.First t are 12 service settings [ twelve ]!.Each service setting has a fork 7 inches , salad fork 6.125 inches ,soup spoon 5,875 inches, teaspoon 6 inches , and knife 9 inches . Besides the service settings t are 46 [forty six] more pieces!! These include the following 12 Flat handle butter spreaders 6 inches,12 iced tea spoons 7.5 inches, 12 cocktail/seafood forks 5.5 inches.3 tablespoons serving spoons 8.375 inches, 1 sugar shell spoon 6.25 inches, 1 solid shell casserole spoon 9.25 inches,1 no spout gravy ladle with solid handle, i large stainless steel prong roast carving fork 11.25 inches, 1 large stainless steel blade roast carving knife 13.25 inches,1 solid handle master butter knife 7 inches , 1 cake and pie solid handle server 10 inches ...Total 106 pieces.,All this and housed in a wonderful chest with brass accents and handles.Measures 17 inch long 6.5 inches high 11.5 inches long,.t is a pull out drawer on the bottom and a hinged door which opens up.Drawer holds the silver serving pieces.As with any antique sterling silver flatware set, the chest does have some wear marks consistent with age.T are some scratches on the chest.This is a rare set of Reed Barton Guildhall sterling silver.You will be happy with this set.I guarantee it.100%.!! if not happy let me know 3 days after arrival and we will have you send back for a refund,Shipping will be based on weight.This is a heavy item which must be packaged securely and Insurance and delivery confirmation will be required for the buyer.Buyer to pay shipping costs.Bid away grand pa needs a vacation so bid it up up up. thanks
