The scalloped rim is filled with lush repousse of fruits, grapes and leaves all joined by elaborately embossed swirls. The design is very clear and crisp. Backside is clearly marked REED & BARTON STERLING X569 FRANCIS I. I believe this pattern dates back to the early 1900's but this particular piece is from the latter half of the 20th century. Condition is superb. This bowl is in pristine mint condition - T are no dings or dents. A BIT OF HISTORY : (Quoted from Dorothy Rainwater's Encyclopedia of American Silver.)
