Gorgeous Regina music box that has been in our family for 50 years. I am selling this for my sister. Our parents were antique dealers for years in Indiana, and picked this up along the way! This item is located in Peru, Indiana, 46970. Pick up is an option (and preferred) or it can be shipped by a freight company that likely will be expensive. I'll start with a description of the Regina music box itself: It has a tag that says:"Kipp Bothers Co. Indianapolis, IN." The patent dates from 1896/1897. C opyright date is 1896. The serial # is 22110. One tooth is broken on the comb but has no effect. S till works perfectly! It is a double comb long plate. The box measures 20" by 17" on the inside of the lid. We believe the music box is oak and cherry, BUT I am NOT an expert on wood items. Next, the cabinet: The cabinet is 34" tall and the top measures 21 3/4 " by 24 3/4". T are a couple of scuff marks on the top but no structural damage. Again, I am no expert, but believe the cabinet to be oak. T are 16 slots in the cabinet f or the discs. T are 36 discs. 25 of them are in good shape, 11 are slightly rusted. Some of the titles are: "Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight", "Wedding March", "My Old New Hampshire Home", "T Will Come A Time", and "The Nightingale Song". They are 15 1/2". Serious inquiries only will be provided the phone number of my sister in Indiana. Additional pictures are available upon request.
