For auction is a Reichert Visopan Projection Microscope . This is an unusual microscope and was designed for, among other things, demonstration and teaching purposes. It is in good condition considering it's age and has only a few chips and scratches. This microscope may be of interest to collectors or someone who would like to show a small audience what can be seen under the lens. Another uses to which this type of microscope is often put is drawing or counting objects. A piece of tracing paper is attached to the screen and the outline of the subject is made with a pencil or the positions of objects to be counted are marked on the paper. Lamp and Assembly: There are no complicated adjustment required for the lamp assembly and the bulb is still working. (It will be well packed for shipment). Please see the image of the bulb as it is unusual and may be difficult to source. Lamp Power Supply: The lamp power supply is fully functional and operates from 250V but the plate underneath the housing suggests a 125V supply is possible. As with all power supplies it should be subject to a portable appliance test before use.
