Relief German stein Mettlach Villeroy & Boch - #1005

This rare stein is in outstanding condition with only a few easily correctable flaws: 1. The lid has 3 small marks, photos 2,3,5. The lid seats well on the stein mouth and functions well with the thumb lift however the slightly loose fit allows just a few degrees of free-play in the attachment to the handle, 3. finally there is a feint one and one half inch irregular line on the base inner rim, photo 9.This is not a hair line crack but probably a process flaw. The usual V&B identifier is visible on the Base along with the number "1005", the letter "I" and the number "11".
