For auction is a Remington 1907 bayonet with NO scabbard. Blade is made of steel, grips are of wood (nice patina) with two horizontal grooves cut into the sides; pommel with latching mechanism (spring steel push button)--no oil hole. Blade tip is curved. Hand grip has two screws and has two cross grooves; cross guard is short (2"). Above the Remington mark is 1907 3 15 markings. Please note markings on other side of blade is somewhat difficult to distinguish--the "X" presumed to be a testing or proof mark? The grip is stamped 1919. Any questions, please email. Buyer will be responsible for priority shipping and required insurance costs. Buyer must make contact with seller within three days after close of auction and payment must be received within 10 days after close of auction. As payment I accept POSTAL money orders or BANK cashier checks. As a seller, I require insurance and cannot be responsible for postal service transit time. Transit times are provided by the Postal carrier, excludes weekends and holidays and can vary with package origin and destination. Once your package is mailed, I have no control of its arrival nor security after it reaches its destination.
