For auction is a Remington 1907 bayonet with NO scabbard. Blade is made of steel, grips are of wood (nice patina) with two horizontal grooves cut into the sides; pommel with latching mechanism (spring steel push button)--no oil hole. Blade tip is curved. Hand grip has two screws and has two cross grooves; cross guard is short (2"). Above the Remington mark is 1907 3 15 markings. Please note markings on other side of blade is somewhat difficult to distinguish--the "X" presumed to be a testing or proof mark? The grip is stamped 1919. Any questions, please email.
