I am selling a lot of miniatures from my mom's miniature/doll/dollhouse store inventory from the late 1980s. I will tell what I can about each item, but please study the pictures carefully. She has a lot of marked Reminiscence furniture; some marked with a tag that reads "Chicago Institute of Art". After looking online, this is what I found: Quality 1980s dollhouse miniature furniture made in Taiwan, R.O.C., under the Reminiscence brand name featured traditional styles. Reminiscence also made reproductions of miniatures from the Thorne Rooms. Some Reminiscence pieces have gold paper labels. Others have a calligraphic-style, wood-burned-look R mark on the underside. Thorne Room reproductions have a special wood-burned-look Thorne Room mark. This doll or child's chair has the label. It measures approximately 2 inches tall, 1 inch wide, and 3/4 inch deep. Please email with any questions and I will do my best!
