Renata Tebaldi and Rudolf Bing This is an historic signed 10x12 glossy photograph by Bob Noble of the New York Herald Tribune dated November 18, 1955. The caption on the verso reads "Renata Tebaldi signing the contract with Rudolf Bing, general Manager of the Met. In Miss Tebaldi's dressing room before todays matinee in which she sang the title role of 'Aida' for the first time at the Met. The contract is for 1956-57...".The soprano boldly signed in blue ink. The photo is trimmed (but the heads of Bing and Tebaldi are not cropped in the original - but our scanner was too narrow to get the whole image in) and t is some minor creasing and marginal tears.
