For bid is this hand forged knife. This knife is newmade from a file. It was made by the Larios Family of Sayula, Jalisco, Mexico. It is made just the way knives were made 200 years ago. I am so sure buyer will like this knife, I will refund money, including shipping if not happy with is. The pattern for this knife was taken from one used during the early 19th century. Hand forged knives west of the Mississippi were a bit sturdier than those east of the Mississippi due to heavier game and use around camp. This knife is 12 3/4'' (32.3cm) long. The blade is 8'' (20.3 cm) long, 1 5/16'' (3.3 cm) wide and 1/8'' (3mm) thick. The scales are maple with some birdseye. They have been sanded smooth, stained and rubbed with linseed oil. They are atached to the full tang with epoxy and 3 brass pins. T is filework on the spine just forward of the grips. This is a beautiful primitive knife. Buyer to pay $8.00 shipping. Foreign buyer to pay actual cost if more than U.S. $8.00. Insurance extra. Please feel free to ask questions. No reserve. If not sold, will not relist.
