You are bidding on a set of 16 new-old-stock replacement cursors. This consists of 2 each of four different sizes of plastic cursors, and 2 each of four different sizes of metal framed cursors. These cursors are brand new old stock, mostly still in their original plastic bags. Any discoloration or stains that appear in the photo are camera flash. Bid with confidence, check my feedback, and I will allow returns for any reasonable reason. Each of the plastic cursors consist of white plastic runners, a small leaf spring for tension, clear plastic lenses marked with a red cursor line only. The metal framed cursors consist of a metal frame, a small leaf spring for tension, and a clear glass lens marked with a red cursor line. T are no other marks on these cursors, so they can be used with any sliderule they fit. You can cut the clear plastic lenses down, but I've been told that trying to file the white plastic runners down to a thinner size is very difficult. The smallest of the plastic cursors has an inner height (distance between the runners) of approximately 1.010 inches, and an inner thickness of approximately 0.196 inches. The width of the lens is approximately 1.927 inches, and the outer overall height is approximately 1.334 inches. The next larger plastic cursor in size has an inner height of approximately 1.457 inches, and an inner thickness of approximately 0.198 inches. The width of the lens is approximately 0.927 inches, and the outer overall height is approximately 1.778 inches. The next larger plastic cursor in size has an inner height of approximately 1.632 inches, and an inner thickness of approximately 0.282 inches. The width of the lens is approximately 1.185 inches, and the outer overall height is approximately 2.050 inches. The largest of the plastic cursors has an inner height of approximately 1.868 inches, and an inner thickness of approximately 0.286 inches. The width of the lens is approximately 1.196 inches, and the outer overall height is approximately 2.274 inches. The smallest of the metal framed cursors has an outer height of approximately 0.88 inches, and a width of approximately 0.75 inches. This cursor fits the SIC model 4030 sliderule. The next larger of the metal framed cursors has an outer height of approximately 1.11 inches, and a width of approximately 0.87 inches. This cursor fits the SIC model 5050 sliderule. The next larger of the metal framed cursors has an outer height of approximately 1.33 inches, and a width of approximately 1.01 inches. This cursor fits the SIC model 1020 sliderule. The largest of the metal framed cursors has an outer height of approximately 1.55 inches, and a width of approximately 1.30 inches. This cursor fits the SIC model 1050 sliderule. All my measurements were given in inches. If you need these dimensions in metric, multiply by 2.54 cm/in to convert, a simple calculation on any sliderule. These measurements were taken directly off the cursors. T is some variation in the measurements, the two smaller plastic cursors have the same thickness of runner, as do the larger two.
