Like new, imported replica of the Heavy Artillery short sword. (24.5 inches overall, 18.5 inch blade.) Clean blade with stamped markings: 1831 WS, Eagle silhouette, no inspection marks on the cross guard. Scabbard is solid. The rig was made locally from good heavy leather which is fitted with brass rings on either side of the frog. Does not have the rectangular brass pieces found on the originals. Completed with a replica militia tongue-in-wreath eagle buckle. Belt size is 43 inches 5/8 inches. The buckle is sewn in place making it straight forward to replace the militia one if you wish. This rig was never worn. Now doing a CW band impression = surplus to me – deal for you.
