Here is a very expensive highest grade American made reproduction rear sight and original base screw for the Model 1855 .58 caliber musket and .69 caliber Springfield musket conversions like H&P Hewes & Phillips. It is exactly like the originals. All parts are original to the sight. The sight fits the H&P conversion barrel I have perfectly but will also fit a variety of other muskets and possibly carbines of the period. It is part of a group of parts I collected to restore a H&P conversion musket. These parts are all up for auction today and Thursday. I think the pictures really tell the story best and suggest you study them closely. It was fun, but now my musket days are over and it is time to pass along my few remaining parts to someone else to preserve and enjoy. The part will be very carefully packed in peanuts and bubble wrap. We know how hard the shippers are on boxes! Shipping for AK, HI and PR will obviously be more than what is shown. We do combine shipping wherever possible and we automatically refund all excess shipping over a dollar. We don't charge for the peanuts and the bubble even though it costs us money.
