Reproduction Hanging Corner Cupboard with Antique Glass This is a reproduction hanging corner cupboard with a four lite glass door featuring antique glass. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but the glass has a wavy look with small bubbles and distortions characteristic of period glass. All of the glass is recovered for old windows and really finishes the piece. The cupboard is painted in a 2 coat finish of Salem Brick over Antique Yellow with a slightly crackled & distressed finished. The interior is painted Colonial White . The cupboard is constructed of solid pine throughout. It features two interior shelves with a groove for storing plates upright along the back of the cupboard, beaded board back and a raised panel door with an authentic period latch. Forged iron butterfly hinges secure the door to the cupboard and complete the period great look. The cupboard measures approximately 32" tall and 21 1/2" wide across the front. It is 11" deep at the center. Each piece is signed and dated by the maker. What makes our pieces different? Quality craftsmanship and attention to tradition and period details. Pine is selected with minimal knots. All knots are sealed with shellac to prevent bleeding through in the future. Molding details not found on mass produced pieces like coves, beads and rounds. Solid beaded board back panels on all cabinets - NOT plywood. Quality paint finishes from Old Village Paints , fifth generation paint makers known worldwide for authentic paint colors. All joints are nailed AND glued for long lasting strength & durability.
