This auction is for one (1) great early round embossed quart milk bottle from OXFORD DAIRY, MAINE! It is a great Maine collectible bottle -- in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or dings! Excellent clear bottle with deep embossing! Has some of the good ol' Maine river schmutz inside in a few places, but should clean up nicely for new owner! It's embossed on front, large slug plate: OXFORD/ DAIRY Embossed on heel: BBGCO48 On shoulder: MAINE/48/SEAL in small slug plate On reverse, in small slug plate on neck: STORE On heel: REGISTERED Embossed on base: 17/ circle with overlapping diamond, I in center/ 4/ in script; Duraglas.
