NO RESERVE, This is a Scottish Quaich, I believe its pronounced "Quake" from what I can tell these are a traditional Scottish drinking vessel and used as a greeting or celebration object traditionally? Sure plenty of you know a lot more. All I know about this one is its made from one piece of cow horn that is well carved and the two handles are mounted with Silver emblems and there is a Silver disc with very odd marks in the middle. It looks to have age but I really dont know more. The horn is very good if a little dry, I do not see any cracks and the colour is good, the silver emplems are both good and near mint, one has a thistle engraved and the other a Celtic cross, the engraving is very nice if a little naive.
