For sale today is very nicely restored medium size antique humpback stagecoach steamer trunk and the pictures do not due it justice. T is a patent dates on the hardware of July 1872 which makes this trunk a 125 plus years old - a true antique. This was a solid trunk when the restoration started and it has solid wood bottom, two original hinges that are good and tight, 35 pieces of polished hardware, original center lock - no key, a new leather lid lifter was installed, both latches work well, solid oak slats in a golden oak color, the interior paper has been removed, t are three original metal wheels on the bottom, two new leather handles were installed with the original hardware, has the original metal lid stay and the lid closes well. This great old humpback is 34W, 19D and 23.25H. The s/h/i will range from $45 to $75 - please email your zipcode and city for an exact quote on the s/h/i. Local pickup is welcome.
