For sale today is a restored waterfall style antique steamer trunk. This was a solid trunk before the restoration was started and the restoration of this waterfall turned out awesome! I did not fine any patent dates on the trunk and based on thirty experience restoring trunks this trunk is 90 to 120 years old - a true antique. This great old waterfall is a medium size trunk with a solid bottom, three original hinges that are solid and tight, 45 + pieces of polished hardware, original Yale and Towne center lock - no key, a new leather lid lifter, solid oak slats in a golden oak color that are thicker than usual, has the original tray and the interior has been removed, all the tin/metal is in VGC, four metal wheels on the bottom and the trunk rolls well, new leather handles were installed with original hardware, has the original metal lid stay and the lid closes well. This is a beautiful waterfall that has a presence of it's own! This awesome waterfall is 34.25W, 19.75D and 22.5H. Because of the size of the trunk the s/h/i by UPS/Fedex $45 to $85.
