Up for auction is a newly restored Dr. Grabow Royal Duke straight billiard pipe and 12 day pipe rack. The pipe has been cleaned and sanitized, and is ready to be gently smoked.I have decided to combine these two items in order to give a possible newcomer to the hobby a sort of starter set. This set will provide the buyer with a decent quality estate pipe as well as adequate storage for more pipes that will inevitably be added to his collection.This pipe is in good shape with only some rough teeth marks on the bit. There are no mechanical issues with the pipe, however; and the teeth marks do not go through the, bit nor will they detract from the smoking experience. The Grabow is by no means a high grade pipe, but it is a great pipe to get started with, and at this price it will offer a pleasant smoke still allowing the buyer to enjoy a gently broken in and aged pipe without the normal costs associated with the endeavor. The rack is in immaculate condition as I have had it on my shelves for quite some time. The only reason I am parting with it is because I have recently acquired a new pipe cabinet, and am no longer in need of individual racks. The rack is designed to store 12 pipes in the stem up position. It has only a few minor nicks and scratches on it, but they by no means detract from the beauty of the rack.I really hope this read more
